Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence
As of Oct 1, Lawrence is one of the select theaters to screen Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence!
(In fact, according to Go Fish Pictures Play Dates, Lawrence is the only  Kansas release planned!)

So I'd like to check it out, and am curious if anyone else is interested. I know that [info]chernobylred would like to go, but due to RenFest obligations, she can only make it during the week.  Could anyone make it the 6th, 7th, or 8th?

Also, if anyone wants to get together to watch the first Ghost in the Shell, we could get a refresher before the sequel. ;)

Tempting. I was planning to hold off until the Oct. 14 KC debut, but I have little to no self-control and a new "wealth" of free time.

Okay, we're on for the 6th! [info]chernobylred has indicated that a 7:30 showing would be ideal for her, as she has several friends from KC coming in to join us.

So who's in? Also, who'll need advanced tickets purchased? Give me a count, and I'll pick 'em up for you!

Do you really think it'll sell out? Anime isn't really the biggest draw in the US....

I don't think it'll sell out. But if [info]arian1 and [info]sdemory join us, they'll be coming in from out of town, and might want to have tickets waiting for them...

And if I'm picking up any tickets ahead of time, I may as well pick them all up...
